The double blind, placebo-controlled studies showed, at the end of 16 weeks, participants taking Meratrim® lost an additional 8.8 lbs. compared to those in the placebo group. The Meratrim group also lost an additional 2.46 inches from the waist and 2.07 inches from the hip, compared to participants in the placebo group.*†

† Meratrim® is intended to be used according to the the procedure in the clinical study. The 16-week study was conducted in India on overweight adults between the ages of 21-50 years old. Study participants took Meratrim® twice daily, consumed a prescribed 2,000 calorie per day diet (58% carbohydrates, 17% protein and 25% fat) and exercised 30 minutes per day 5 days a week. This clinical trial is not published in a peer-reviewed journal but the data was obtained from a completed clinical trial and a poster of the results of the clinical trial was presented at the 56th Annual Meeting of the American Collagen of Nutrition November 11-13, 2015 in Orlando Florida.
